Just when I thought this mascara couldn’t get better, Guerlain releases a WATERPROOF version of the cult-worthy Maxi Lash Mascara! As I previously reviewed the original Maxi Lash Mascara, I was blown away by it’s quality, innovation, and ultimate performance. Not only does it create the most gorgeously thick and curled lashes, but it has special ingredients to help nourish and protect lashes over time. Fabulous lashes now and healthy lashes for the future!

And with the newest version of the Maxi Lash mascara, you can reap all the benefits of the original with the staying power and longevity that can not be beat! Seriously, my lashes stayed perfectly fluttery come tears & laughter, rain or shine, on the sand or in the water!

Waterproof mascaras, as essential as they sometimes are, are terribly difficult to work with and are usually not comfortable to wear either! And nothing bothers me more than crunchy lashes and this is even more of an issue with waterproof formulas as they tend to dry out lashes like crazy. But even after using the new waterproof Maxi Lash formula, my lashes still feel soft, pliable, and natural, almost as if I have nothing on! The most comfortable waterproof mascara I have ever tried. Those of you who use a lot of waterproof mascara will certainly appreciate this!

Another offender of waterproof formulas is flakes; but with the conditioning oils in this mascara you never have to worry about a flake as long as you live!

Seriously, this mascara not only gives natural looking volume and buildability, but it also provides great curl thanks to special polymers that act almost like a hairspray moulding the lashes and setting them in place. It gives such great curl that I no longer need to curl my lashes before applying mascara!

But that’s not all, like the original Maxi Lash, the wand is shorter meaning you have greater control over applying, you can get closer to the lashes, and you can twist it easier when adding a curl. Seriously, this may not sound significant, but you have to try it to believe it. Once you’ve used this shorter wand, you’ll never look back! All other mascara wands will feel clumsy in comparison.

However, the most important thing about this mascara to me personally, is that with my extremely sensitive eyes, it is the ONLY mascara that I can wear! Usually, I have to steer clear of waterproof mascaras due to their usual harsh ingredients and dehydrating properties. But not with Guerlain’s! I can safely and comfortably wear this mascara all day/all night and not feel the burning desire to take it off like I do ALL other mascaras.

Overall, this mascara is certainly a beauty bag staple! Especially for the wedding season coming up, beach holidays, and for that hot Summer sun we are all longing for! But trust me, you won’t just be applying this stuff by the pool, this mascara is so good and so wearable it may become part of your every day routine!
