CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir Review

A long-time secret to the stars, beauty experts, and top models alike! Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir is literally just that…an elixir of beauty! A precious liquid of pure radiance and beneficial essential oils that takes your daily beauty routine from ugh to ahhhhh…. A unique and one-of-a-kind product that imparts a natural glow to your skin with a simple spritz. But it does oh so much more than just that! In fact, Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir is one of my most favorite and functional beauty products I use!

Firstly, some of the world’s top beauty experts, makeup artists, and stars (apparently non-other than Victoria Beckam buys this stuff in bulk) have been using Beauty Elixir religiously to impart a youthful glow to your skin and to set makeup for a natural finish. And when I say “glow” I mean a natural, subtle, radiance to your skin, the kind of look you may achieve right after a facial. It simply makes your skin look fresh and healthy.

How does it accomplish this fresh-faced glow? By ACTUALLY making your skin fresh and healthy! Thanks to it’s formula packed with anti-oxidants from Grapes, and essential oils like Rosemary which is a natural decongestant. Rosemary also decreases puffy skin and increases circulation along with toning the skin, leading to a well-rested and rejuvenated complexion. It also includes essential oils of Orange Blossom which tightens pores and regenerates skin cells and Rose which moisturizes and also helps tone and lift skin. Lastly, and my favorite part of the Elixir, is Mint, which adds an instant boost to your complexion and a cooling sensation that perks up the skin and your mind!

This leads me to the next and perhaps my most favorite use for the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and that is for a mid-day pick-me-up! Kept in my handbag at all times, my Elixir is sprayed nearly every hour, to give my skin an instant radiance and my senses a renewed freshness. Because not only are the essential oils in this spray beneficial for your skin, they are also beneficial for your mood and spirit! Rosemary increases concentration and fights fatigue. Orange Blossom calms the nervous system. Rose evokes positive thoughts and a sense of hope and happiness. And Mint invigorates and uplifts. When I spray my Elixir, it’s perhaps the only time of day when I take a much needed deep breath! So when I’m feeling a bit stressed, tired, or weary, I can pause for just a minute and not only renew my complexion but my focus and thoughts.

There are so many uses for the Elixir and it seems like every month I am finding a new way of using it. There are the obvious uses of course to set makeup, to impart radiance, and for aromatherapy but I have found a few other ways of using it that are equally as beneficial. For example, in the Summer use it to cool skin in the hot summer sun, or use as a treatment to cool (because of the mint) and heal sunburns as the Rosemary ingredient is a natural anti-inflammatory (keep your Elixir in the fridge for added benefit and cooling sensation). And my favorite use for it is for traveling. It makes a great refresher mid-flight and before you land to wake up your senses, ease jet-lag, and refresh your skin!

I am so impressed by this product, not only because of it’s aesthetic benefits, but also it’s aromatherapy benefits as well! I believe this to be a beauty product that EVERY woman should own.
