CHANEL Le Rouge Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

Any lipstick queen will be drooling over CHANEL’s new Spring/Summer Le Rouge collection! This is quite possibly the largest lipstick-centered collection ever released! A compilation of lipsticks and glosses spanning three different sub-collections, natural nude beiges, pink-reds and violet-plums!

Nothing has made me more excited about Spring then this collection! There is something for everyone here, from the subdued, to feminine, to even the bold and vibrant! And with CHANEL’s multiple fabulous formulations, including a matte lipstick, hydrating formula, a shiny sheer lip, to even a gloss and their newest liquid lipstick, how could you go wrong?!

For those who want to stand out from the crowd and make a statement, explore the pink and red collection! My favorite is the Rouge Allure Velvet #46 La Malicieuse! It is a unique pinky-red that appears more like a strawberry color on lips. Perfect for Spring floral dresses AND Summer picnics!

CHANEL Le Rouge Lipstick Spring Summer 2014 Pink and Red Family

(L-R) Rouge Coco #54 Le Baiser bright pink golden flecks.
Rouge Coco Shine #91 Boheme, candied pink-red.
Rouge Coco Shine #87 Rendez-Vous, cool baby pink.
Rouge Allure #138 Fougeuse, bright pink.
Rouge Allure Velvet #46 La Malicieuse, strawberry-red.
Glossimer #179 Murmure, baby-doll pink.
Rouge Double Intensite #54 Strawberry Red, bold pink-red.
Le Crayon Levers #48 Bois de Rose, soft pink-brown
Le Crayon Levres #88 Rose Clair, dusty pink.

For ultra sophistication and class, explore the violet-plum range. These shades are bold and are best suited for the heat of the Summer! These are the kind of shades that suit bronzed skin and pool-side antics! The shade that is most exciting is Rouge Allure #145 Rayonnante, which is a punchy magenta that will certainly draw the attention of on-lookers!

CHANEL Le Rouge Spring Summer 2014 Plum Family

(L-R) Rouge Coco #62 Irresistible, cool rose with silver flecks.
Rouge Coco Shine #90 Mutine, soft pink with silver flecks.
Rouge Coco Shine #92 Émotion, vibrant plum.
Rouge Allure #145 Rayonnante, magenta with silver flecks.
Rouge Allure Velevet #47 L’Amoureuse, rosewood.
Glossimer #182 Tocade, vibrant plum.

Le Crayon Levres #26 Pretty Pink, plum-pink with silver flecks.
Le Crayon Levres #58 Rubellite, bright pink.
Aqua Crayon 21 Plum, plum-pink.

For those who like to keep it neutral, the nude-beige range is peachy fresh and oh so trendy! Due to the fact that nudes and corals/oranges are the “IT” shade for lips this season, I believe that a few of these shades will sell-out fast, such as the juicy apricot shade Rouge Allure #144 Conquise, the matte super coral Rouge Allure Velvet #43 La Favorite, and the glossy coral-orange Rouge Double Intensite #53 Coral Peach! And not to be out-done by the oranges, every girl needs a nude lip and Rouge Coco Shine #89 Satisfaction is the perfect shiny nude lip which would flatter any skintone!
