This exquisite cologne fulfills all of your scentual desires! Everything you could imagine an ideal man to smell like. The perfect combination of sweetness, power, softness and masculinity with a dose of intoxicating sex appeal thrown in for good measure. Pure class and sophistication with all the impeccable quality known by Guerlain but with the addition of modern notes that take this cologne to a whole other level!

A slight departure from Guerlain’s typical classic and mature colognes; L’Homme Ideal is unique, modern, and even a bit avant garde. While other Guerlain colognes are more traditional and are constructed in the typical sophisticated french style, L’Homme Ideal stands on it’s own with it’s uncharted territory of unique notes not normally used in men’s cologne.

The only thing that reminds us that it is Guerlain, is it’s unparralled quality, depth, and beauty. Rarely does a men’s cologne take my breath away, but L’Homme Ideal does. A carnal experience that enchants me and stops me in my tracks. I am spellbound!

First off, the premier of sweet creamy nutty Almond being used in a men’s cologne is news-worthy enough. I find it hard to believe that this note has not been featured in a major cologne before as it adds such a creamy gourmand depth that is a perfect combination of sweet AND manly. But combine Almond with Rosemary, Orange Blossom & Citrus notes and you get the most intoxicating amaretto nuance to make your head spin! One whiff of this and women every where will jump into the arms of the man wearing it!

And this addictive scent combination lasts pretty much right from the start to finish, drying down to a near perfect masculine dry Vetiver, green Cedar, rich Leather, and smooth Tonka Bean. All while maintaining that intoxicating amaretto creaminess to make you weak in the knees.

This unique combination is one-of-a-kind and elicits a response from me that no other cologne on the market does. Instead of smelling the alluring overt scent of a man, it elicits a more magnetic instinctual feeling, luring me to the origin of the scent like moths to a flame – unable to stop myself from the attraction.

It is not complex by any means, in Guerlain terms, but this is no flaw. In fact, it is a welcome surprise to find a Guerlain cologne that is so minimal yet with so much impact! It manages to cover everything you could want in a cologne from the sweet to woody, from the beautiful to the masculine, from the airiness to it’s depths, and from the modern to the sophisticated; hence why the word “Ideal” takes it’s rightful place in it’s name.

What starts off as an almost androgenous scent, deepens into a masculine masterpiece. However, with it’s smooth sweetness, L’Homme Ideal could easily be worn by both men and women alike.

There really isn’t anything else like it on the market and would be perfect for men who embrace their individuality and want to stand out from the crowd without being the life of the party or the center of attention. It’s deceptive magnetism works it’s magic in such a mysterious way that unbeknownst to everyone who smells it, they quickly succumb to it’s intoxicating spell.

It is unique and modern but not in a juvenile or brash way, it’s more intelligent and confident. It is elegant and sophisticated in it’s modernity and oozes all the class typically found in a Guerlain. The man who wears L’Homme Ideal is sure of himself but not cocky and keeps one foot one the ground and the other in the clouds. A man of intelligence but a dreamer within. He is powerful yet humble, strong yet romantic, and reliable yet still knows how to sweep you off your feet! A man who can be everything you need him to be. He could very well be perfect!
