Dot by Marc Jacobs is as “chic and charming” as it says it is. A lush Fruity Floral with ripe Red Berries and thick floral bouquets. Not a sophisticated or complex fragrance by any means but a young, girl, fresh, chirpy, and fun scent nonetheless. As it is such a youthful scent, it could be a signature scent if you are under the age of 18, but if you are older, it’s still a fun and cheerful scent and great for a beach holiday or Summer BBQ.

At first breath, ripe and juicy Red Berries pop, followed closely by a mixture of pretty Jasmine, spring-like Orange Blossom and Honeysuckle. The sparkling top notes then warm into more lush tropical fruit mixed with more sweet Honeysuckle making this scent almost lickable! Finally warming down into slight hints of smooth Vanilla and Coconut without ever losing its fruitiness.

Regardless of age, wearing Dot certainly makes you feel young at heart. It harkens back to be a fresh faced teen filled with the vibrancy of life and believing that you could do anything your heart desired. It’s scent fills your soul with optimism and puts a smile on your face as you daydream to some bright and sunny magical place.
