Jimmy Choo Flash Review
Everyone’s familiar with the designer shoes of Jimmy Choo, but did you know that Jimmy Choo also has a fragrance line!
Jimmy Choo Flash equates itself to a high-octane night out. An effervescent Fruity Floral perfume for women that evokes anticipation, excitement, and giddy girl energy. But like most nights out, you are often disappointed by its typical flare and predictable outcomes.
Flash starts off with a burst of girly Strawberry, citrusy sweet Tangerine, and tickling Pink Pepper. This I’m assuming is the high-octane part of the fragrance. Slightly fruity, but in a more fizzy pop way rather than a juicy way.
It’s quite fun, don’t get me wrong. This is the brief excitement you have while dancing around your room putting your finishing touches on your makeup, drinking a pre-going out cocktail, and spraying hairspray liberally around your mane! But like most nights on-the-town, you soon find yourself in the same lounge, drinking the same drinks, listening to the same gossip.
The same predictable White Flower notes of Jasmine combined with Lily and heady Tuberose are used, like they are in nearly half of all fragrances. And it doesn’t dry down to much more than that. Just like the chatter in the room, it doesn’t get much deeper than superficial fluff.
You may find hints of indistinct White Woods and Heliotrope but just like having a meaningful conversation while drinking a cocktail with a paper umbrella , good luck finding them.
Unfortunately, Jimmy Choo Flash just doesn’t rank for me, but if it sounds like a fun night out to you, then go for it! It’s a predictable fruity floral that is flirty and girly but nothing more than that. And although the bottle looks like a disco ball from Studio 54, it’s definitely not the high-octane party that it’s marketed as. Now Jimmy Choo shoes on the other hand, well, that’s a whole different story!
