There are SOOOO many good things about this product, and it truly is THE best heat styling product that I’ve ever tried!

First of all, I don’t have to mention that if you touch your hair with a blow dryer, curling wand, or straightener, then you MUST use a heat styling product. That’s a given!

Next, there are some basic things that we all need from a heat styling product, such as heat protection obviously and a consistency that allows for the brush to glide through for that perfect blow out look!

The Kerastase L’Incroyable Blowdry lotion protects the hair up to 230°C (450F) styling tools, so no need to worry about singed locks (blondes especially). And the consistency is like a thick slippery serum that distributes well throughout the hair. It also leaves the hair light, soft and supremely shiny.

But those are things that we’ve grow to expect from a heat styling lotion.

It’s got more of a slippery serum consistency, which at first was hard to believe. I have very fine hair so I’m usually the best judge as to whether a product is too heavy and I feel confident saying that this one isn’t.

Although, given the thinnest of my hair, I can tell that there’s product in there, but it’s more of a silky coating-type feel. It’s hard explain the feeling, it’s not as slippery as an oil, not as tacky as a wax, not as heavy as a leave-in….but it won’t leave fine hair as light as air either. But this is forgivable because it’s meant for heat styling such as curls, straighten, waves, and updos where need a bit of grip and hold.

So the Kerastase L’Incroyable Blowdry has heat protection, prevents greasy buildup, protects against humidity, and holds your style…but I haven’t even told you the best part……

Fortified with innovative SRS® technology, its unique formula utilizes heat-sensitive micro-beeswaxes that melt when heated to enhance shape, and form a strong bond between hair fibres when cool for a long-lasting finish without stiffness. While elastic polymers also enhance flexibility.

But that’s not all….when the micro-waxes come into contact with heat over a temperature of 150°C/300F again, like your curling wand or straightener, they re-melt and become reactivated allowing you to restyle your hair again and again….as if it was the first time!
